Product Designer combining UX design practice with prior software development experience. Senior Product Designer (January 2024 - August 2025)
  • Owned the end-to-end design for multiple high-impact features on Attendee Hub - an all-in-one digital event platform that powers virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences by centralizing content delivery, networking, and engagement tools into a single unified interface.
  • Elevated the experience of the product with AI-driven features (Artificial Intelligence), social engagement, and critical planner-side functionalities like scalable typography controls.
  • Led comprehensive requirement analysis using methodologies like Opportunity Solution Tree and Jobs To Be Done to define problem spaces before execution, and address customer retention and churn.
  • Managed a successful product-wide transition to the updated design system and championed strategic UI enhancements to ensure consistent pattern usage across the platform.
  • Designed and conducted workshops to educate the wider design team on front-end technologies, bridging the gap between design and engineering to foster more feasible, high-quality solutions.

Cvent Inc. - Austin, TX

Product Designer II (July 2021 - January 2024)
  • Delivered responsive, polished designs for social engagement features, including upgrading chat emoji reactions, creating design patterns, and ensuring visual consistency across illustrations.
  • Collaborated closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to review client requests and perform competitive audits, translating insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Conducted design ideation workshops and built high-fidelity prototypes to validate concepts with stakeholders and engineering partners prior to implementation.
  • Co-founded Cvent's Accessibility committee and consistently championed WCAG compliance to ensure our products were usable for all customers.
  • Conducted extensive research on progress loaders and animation UX, and implemented lightweight animations using Adobe AfterEffects and Lottie to enhance perceived performance (e.g., animated skeleton loaders) and user delight (e.g., avatar animations on page load) within the product.
  • Co-designed 2 large-scaled projects, and solely owned and led 1 large-scaled, 2 mid-scaled and 1 small-scaled design projects.

Cvent Inc. - McLean, VA

Front-end Software Engineer (Apr 2018 - July 2021)
  • As part of the Cvent R&D team, created page-level reusable design system components that are responsive, accessible and built using React.js for consumption by product teams.
  • Designed and developed complex, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for Cvent's meeting- related products using React 16 and Redux. Responsibilities included analyzing business requirements, recommending UX design enhancements, building React components with hooks, managing global state via Redux, and integrating with back-end APIs using Axios in agile sprint cycles.
  • Delivered React and other technical training sessions to peers and mentored UI development interns to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Knollwood Military Retirement Community - Washington D.C.

UX Intern (May 2016 - Aug 2016)
  • Redesigned the Knollwood Resident portal, increasing usability and availability of important information to senior community members by 65%.
  • Led UX analysis of the resident portal user flows, streamlining processes and reducing user errors through heuristic and scenario-based evaluations and usability studies.
  • Conducted hybrid card sorting to create a richer sitemap.
  • Delivered comprehensive UX solutions, including wireframes, user flows, low-fidelity concepts, and interactive prototypes of the redesigned website using tools such as Sketch and InVision.
  • Implemented modifications to the portal, built over the Ning platform (CMS), with approved changes.

University of Maryland - College Park, MD

Web Assistant (Jun 2016 - May 2017)
  • Developed and maintained high-volume websites using Drupal 7, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, jQuery and AJAX for multiple sub-departments of the University of Maryland's engineering department.
  • Designed and developed a Drupal 7 website for a Professor of the Engineering Department using Drupal module development. The website used data captured from monitoring the characteristics of stars and enabled the user to perform desired calculations.
  • Migrated Faculty and Laboratory / Center HTML websites belonging to the Clark School of Engineering, UMD to WordPress CMS. Organized the existing content into categories, and created static sitemaps and interactive wireframes.
  • Iterated and proposed new designs for the Engineering department's main website through high-fidelity mockups using Sketch.
  • Customized a WordPress theme using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and PHP, and developed plugins to include required features based on the final design.
