iServe

My friends and I participated in an iSchool Challenge in Spring 2016. We developed a medium-fidelity prototype of an application we called iServe. Our vision of iServe was to instill the sense of altruism in people through a social-networking medium. Users could post on the app about a good deed that they did, and their family and friends (who are a part of their friends list on the app) could award them something we called ‘karma beads’ and/or leave a comment.

We developed a medium-fidelity application using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and presented a video at the iSchool Challenge of the basic functionality that it performed.

Though we did not win the challenge, we were really proud of the concept of our project as a whole, and hope to build an actual application some day.
